Night School made the grade, opening at number one with $28 million.
Smallfoot was no small feat, opening at number two with $23 million.
The House With A Clock In Its Walls was running late at number three with $12.5 million.
A Simple Favor was complicated, dropping to number four with $6.6 million.
The Nun was blessed at number five with $5.4 million.
Hell Fest was condemned, opening at number six with $5 million.
Crazy Rich Asians made bank at number seven with $4.1 million.
The Predator was still hunting at number eight with $3.7 million.
White Boy Rick needed some soul at number nine with $2.3 million.
Rounding out the top ten was Peppermint with $1.7 million.
