God bless Scotty! He loves his supermodels! LOL… And one of them on the top of his list… Cindy Crawford! I have never myself met the Fair Game star. Even though I did see Fair Game in the theatres, I still like Cindy. LOL… Scotty, is a true collector at heart and saves magazines, memorabilia etc…. So, when he goes out he usually has a good reason for doing so.
The charity event he was heading out to, had a great list including True Blood star Joe Manganiello, Zoe Saldana, Ricky Schroder, Steven Tyler, Rachel Zoe and more!

Celebrities Show Up For Charity!
Last weekend I heard there was a charity event with a number of stars coming to show their support. Number one for me on the list was Cindy Crawford. As you may recall, I am a HUGE fan of the Supermodels from the 1990’s. I was so EXCITED to meet Christy Turlington last year, and I have wanted to meet Cindy for a long time too. I had also read that Elle MacPherson was to be there and wanted her to sign something. Joe Manganiello was going to show up as well and I wanted him on my Entertainment Weekly cover. So, I made my way across town.
When I arrived I was told that Cindy and Elle were not going to show up. That bummed me out. I did hear that Zoe Saldana and Steven Tyler were going to be there which made me happy, as I wanted to get a picture with each of them.
Joe showed up first. We called for him and he happily came over to sign and take pictures with people.
Next to arrive was Zoe Saldana. Zoe was incredibly nice and came over to sign and take pictures. She is a class act.
A surprise arrival was Ricky Schroder. A few fans called to him and he made a swift trip over to the barricade and left.
Steven Tyler, Cindy Crawford, Rachel Zoe, her husband Rodger, and Tom Felton all arrived and waved, but did not come over as the event was about to begin. We waited a short while, and the celebrities began to leave. Steven exited the event, said his goodbyes, and came over to sign and take photos with fans. He pointed out the dealers and said that they were not real fans of rock-n-roll. He only signed and took pictures with fans. He was SO NICE!
I then saw Cindy getting ready to leave. We called for her and she waved, but did not come over. I saw another fan run over to get a picture, so I made my way over to her with my Vanity Fair from 1994 and Vogue portrait. Unfortunately, a dealer had “beaten me to the punch.” He was flipping 8×10 after 8×10. I asked Cindy if she wouldn’t mind signing my magazine. She said ok, but was still signing for the dealer. At that point a security guard was trying to push me out. I said that I was not moving because she said she would do it. Then she saw what security was doing and told him that she said she would sign. She signed it beautifully! VICTORY! WHOO HOO! I would have liked my other picture signed too, but I was HAPPY nonetheless.
Next we saw Rachel Zoe and her husband Rodger coming out. We called her, but I didn’t think she would do it as she had her baby in her arms. Wow! I was wrong! Rachel and Roger made their way over. I have to admit, I was excited. The Rachel Zoe project is a guilty pleasure of mine when I am at someone’s house with cable. They were both VERY COOL and took photos and signed.
The last exit I was looking for was Tom Felton. Since I did not have my Harry Potter items on me, I wanted a photo with “Malfoy.” We called for Tom when he exited, but he did not come over right away. After a few minutes, he finally came over and was SUPER NICE making sure everyone got a photo or signature.
All in all, it was a GREAT day for me. I made my way home very happy. Until next time…
