Box Office Breakdown! Star Wars The Force Awakens Number One Again! Daddy’s Home Rocks! Joy Is A Hit! Sisters Holds! And More!
The force will be with you, always. It sure will! Star Wars the Force Awakens took in another $153.5 million, bringing its worldwide total to over 1 Billion dollars in just ten days.
Daddy’s Home had a merry opening at number two with $38.8 million.
Joy was full of just that, opening at number three with $17.5 million.
Sisters showed some rivalry, climbing up a spot to number three with $13.8 million.
Alvin and the Chipmunks The Road Chip went off road to number five with $12.7 million.
Concussion had a headache, opening at number six with $11 million.
The Big Short made a big jump from number 19 to number seven with $10.5 million and a wider release.
Point Break was an extreme failure, opening at number eight with just $10.2 million. Leave the classics alone Hollywood.
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 flew down to number nine with $5.3 million.
Rounding out the top ten was creed with $4.6 million.
