Box Office Breakdown! The Martian Repeats At Number One! Pan Tanks! The Intern Crashes! And More!
The Martian as stranded at number one for a second week in a row with $37 million.
Hotel Transylvania 2 had no vacancy at number two with $20.3 million.
Pan needed some fairy dust, opening at number three with just $15 million.
The Intern remained working at number four with $8.6 million.
Sicario was stopped at the border at number five with $7.3 million.
Maze Runner the Scorch Trials was found guilty at number six with $5.2 million.
The Walk was stagnant at number seven with $3.6 million.
Black Mass was dark at number eight with $3.1 million.
Everest had vertigo at number nine with $3 million.
Rounding out the top ten was The Visit with $2.4 million.

Next week has some heavy hitters opening. Tom Hanks and his Bridge of Spies will take on the children’s horror books come to life in Goosebumps. But, I’ll placing my bet on Crimson Peak for the win. Tune in to see if I’m right.
