Manic Monday! Pinky is HAM-sessed with Hamilton! Meeting Lin-Manuel Miranda! Jonathan Groff! And More!

Hello, my lovelies. Pinky Lovejoy-Coogan here on a rare break from watching Hamilton over and over and over again on Disney Plus. That’s right, my friends, Keith and I are HAM-sessed (is that how you say it?). Yes, I realize we’re way behind the times here, but we’d never seen this brilliant piece of work until it was available on Disney Plus beginning July 3rd. Unfortunately, we were never lucky enough to score tickets to the play, so we had to wait until it was available to the masses. And, yes, I’ve had tons of friends who’ve loved it and we’d heard so many things that we were both afraid it had been overhyped and we wouldn’t love it. I’m happy to report that this wasn’t the case – we LOVE IT and are about to watch it for the fifth time. I was lucky to meet the genius himself, Lin-Manuel Miranda, who created this masterpiece at the Emmys last year and he was super cool in person. I’ve also had the opportunity to see Jonathan Groff (who is outstanding as King George) several times over the years. Score! Now, of course, I’ll have to try and meet everyone else – which will probably take the rest of my life. I’m up for the challenge! Hope you had a lovely holiday weekend and are staying safe.
