It always feels like there’s a million things happening at New York Comic Con! Here’s a breakdown of all the fun stuff happening at booths and offsite locations!

DC This year’s booth is centered around next year’s Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) with costumes, photos ops, giveaways and cosplay meet ups. They promise extra stuff happening on Saturday and Sunday and advertising all across the convention center and something in the sky. #South concourse

[UPDATE] If you cosplay any of the Birds of Prey characters, grab your garb and head to the DC booth at 6:15 for a very special photo op. You don’t want to miss this one…

 

Dragon Ball World Adventure – Play the latest video games including Dragon Ball Z Kakarot, Dragon Ball Z Fighter, Dragon Ball Legends and Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle #1612

 

Entertainment Earth – In addition to their normal exclusives and signings, they will be giving away bags, pins and ribbons to attach to the bottom of your badge. There will be different pins and ribbons each day including ones celebrating Rick and Morty and Batman. #502

  • They’ve announced their daily cosplay events so cosplayers should plan accordingly!
  • Preview of upcoming Marvel Television Live Auction with new props and costumes each day and a talk on the stage on Thursday at 3 PM.  If anyone wants to get me a birthday present, this is a great place to shop!

 

Nickelodeon will be all things SpongeBob SquarePants with a game inside The Krusty Krab where fans go head to head to complete food orders before time runs out. There will be visits by SpongeBob and Patrick and special giveaways.

 

[UPDATE] NYCC XP – This scavenger hunt has fans scanning badges at locations with the NYCC XP logo. Hit all the locations and win a prize. Look for Pizza Rat for hints on where to go.

 

[UPDATE] Penguin Random House – Here’s the detailed schedule of their signings and giveaways which is super useful. Also keep an eye out since Knopf has a schedule of some great books they are giving away. #2205

 

Penguin Random House Book Club @ NYCC – If this is the first you’re hearing about this, then its too late to participate. PRH selected applicants for their first book club. Fans could apply to read and discuss one of four unreleased books. Winners would be sent books in advance so they could discuss in person at NYCC and receive $100 worth of books.

SYFY Wire: NYCC Live Stage – Don’t want to make the trek from panel to panel ? Want the celebrities to come to you? Watch as SYFY Wire interviews the casts of Angel, Outlander, The Orville, Marvel’s Runaways and some Hobbits, Pee-wee Herman and three Disney Princesses. Each interview is maybe 15 minutes long so it’s a great way to see a lot of folks up close. If you want a seat, go early since some people camp out all day. #174
