Tyler Perry’s Boo 2! A Madea Halloween scared up the laughs, opening at number one with $21.6 million.
Geostorm got swept away, opening at number two with just $13.3 million.
Happy Death Day celebrated at number three with $9.3 million.
Blade Runner 2049 was on the run at number four with $7.1 million.
Only the Brave was smoked out, opening at number five with $6 million.
The Foreigner needed translated at number six with $5.4 million.
It lost some bite at number seven with $3.5 million.
The Snowman got the cold shoulder, opening at number eight with just $3.4 million.

American Made was a knock off at number nine with $3.1 million.
