Hi everyone,
Last Sunday was the biggest premiere we’ve had in Sydney, Australia this year. It was the premiere to the long anticipated sequel to Anchorman – Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues. It was held at Fox Studios, Moore Park and had the news team in attendance: Will Ferrell (Ron Burgundy), Steve Carell (Brick Tamland), Paul Rudd (Brian Fantana) and David Koechner (Champ Kind). In addition to the new team, Kristen Wiig and Kirsten Dunst also attended. Due to the big line u, I arrived super early! The premiere was to kick off at 4pm.
The first was to arrive was David Koechner, who went straight to media to do interviews. The crowd was disappointed but David did come back to his fans after all his media was done.
Second to arrive was Paul Rudd and the crowd went crazy! He has not aged at all! He looks the same as he did in Clueless. I was able to get Paul to sign my Anchorman blu-ray.
Next was Steve Carell and the crowd got even more wild! He went straight to greet the fans taking photos and signing autographs. I was able to get a photo and autograph from Steve!
And last of all was Ron Burgundy himself! Will also went straight to greet the fans, spending a lot of time with anyone who asked for a photo or autograph. I also got a photo and autograph from Will!
I stuck around hoping to see Kirsten Dunst. After waiting around for what felt like eternity, she arrived. I think she was a bit reluctant to come over to the crowd but after some yelling, she came over to greet fans signing and taking photos. She was a bit rushed as she was already late. I was able to get my Bring it On dvd signed.
After David Koechner was done with the media he came back to the crowd. By then a lot of people had left but he took his time taking photos and doing autographs. I was able to get a photo and autograph from David!
Kristen Wiig somehow sneaked onto the red carpet, didn’t greet any fans or the media. However, she was just at the premiere of The Secret Life of Walter Mitty 3 days ago.
This was the most successful premiere I’ve been to all year! Looking forward to watching the movie!
Hope you enjoyed reading my post!

I can’t wait for this one in London.. my luck with Steve & Will has been rubbish in the past, so hopefully that’ll change on the 11th!
Sounds like you had a good day!
