It was no laughing matter, opening at number one with a record breaking $117 million!
Home Again landed at number two, opening with $9 million.
The Hitman’s Bodyguard was shielded at number three with $4.8 million.
Annabelle: Creation sneaked around to number four with $4 million.
Wind River blew down to number five with $3.2 million.
Leap fell to number six with $2.5 million.
Spider-Man: Homecoming was stuck at number seven with $2 million.
Dunkirk stayed adrift at number eight with $1.9 million.
Logan Lucky ran out of luck at number nine with $1.8 million.
Rounding out the top ten was The Emoji Movie with $1 million.
