Box Office Breakdown! Jurassic World Pulls Off Another Win! Ted 2 Disappoints! Inside Out Holds Steady!
It’s a squeaker, but Jurassic World pulled out for the win in the top spot for the third week in a row with $54.2 million.
Inside Out had plenty to feel joyful about at number two with $52.1 million.
Ted 2 opened mildly at number three with $33 million.
Max the small family drama opened at number four with $12.2 – good dog.
Spy was pretty secretive at number five with $7.8 million.
San Andreas was cracked at number six with $5.2 million.
Dope was hung over at number seven with $2.8 million.
Insidious 3 was non-threatening at number eight with $2 million.
Mad Max Fury Road was barely running at number nine with $1.7 million.
Rounding out the top ten after 9 weeks in release was Avengers Age of Ultron with $1.6 million and a domestic run of $452 million.
