The luscious Ms. Pinky headed out with Scotty to meet the cast of Girls. I wish I headed out for this event but sadly, what can you do right? You can’t hit everything.
I’m so glad that the cast of Girls were so nice to the fans. I’ve always heard that they were difficult but it’s cool to see some nice encounters!
Check out the full recap from Ms. Pinky below!
Hello, my lovelies. Pinky Lovejoy-Coogan here still bursting from meeting the cast of Girls. Bursting, I say! You see, there are very few shows I love on TV right now more than Girls. It’s fun, it’s unique, it’s quirky. I love how different all the characters are and how they make terrible choices, just as most of us did in our twenties.
But, most of all I’m blown away by the talent of Lena Dunham who has written, directed, produced, and starred in the show. What a powerhouse!
I’d had the privilege of meeting Lena twice before, but I’d never met any of the other girls. It’s hard when a show is based in New York – you never see them anywhere! So, when I found an event they were scheduled to be at in LA, I jumped at the chance to go. And I’m SO glad I did! Not only was it super low-key, but all four girls came over. The only hold out was Andrew Rannells, who plays Elijah on the show. I don’t know why he hates me so, but I’m not sure I could even pay him to take a picture with me at this point. Gah.
Regardless of that disappointment, the rest of the night was amazing. I even got my DVD from Season Two signed (and I rarely get autographs, so you know I must love the show). It looks SO brilliant. I am so happy!
Big thanks to the cast of Girls and everyone involved in the event. Thank you for having them out to LA and letting us have a chance to see the girls we’ve grown to know and love.
