Bates Motel Premiere! Vera Farmiga! Olivia Cooke! Max Thieriot! Michael Vartan! Chloë Sevigny! Autograph Goodness!

Can I tell you how much I love Bates Motel. I think everyone I’ve been talking to lately has felt the same way. My mother just binge watched the entire first season on Netflix! Seriously, it’s just so well acted, written, etc..

So, when I heard about a last minute premiere for Bates Motel, I had to run out. I already had a couple mini posters thankfully so I was set. Now, I need to pray for the rain, or lack thereof. Why rain, why?!?

This week has been super rain forecast but tonight it should be good.. Right?

I headed out and saw an exploding car on my way. Ummmm… Is this a bad omen?

When I got there, I saw a few people including OTG John who has ben bugging me about the Theo Badge shirts, which I need to get on. Theo on a shirt, who wouldn’t love it!

Anyway, now we talk, hang out, and try to figure out where the heck to stand. The security was super cool, the people putting on the event were cool, okay… A good omen right?

They are just getting the backdrop up, and this seems to be a pretty small press line.

We talk to security, and they were cool. They gave us a place to stand, a nice snazzy rope, so God willing we should be good!

Like I said the people at the event were super nice!

We’re all snug in our spots and holy crap, there’s Michael Vartan! Such a sweet guy.

I have my Alias DVD box set as well as my Bates Motel posters. Michael signs everything put in front of him. Literally. He sees my box set and goes “Old school!”

Another collector says, “Michael we haven’t seen you in a long time.” Michael’s response, “That’s cause I haven’t worked in forever.” I of course said, “No, you had HarthoRNe man.” He laughed.

After Michael was done, there was a pause and then Big Love star Chloë Sevigny arrives. She is so frakkin cool.

She comes over to sign and no one gives her a pen. I tried to hand her one and she was like, I’ll just start at the end and go down. And sure enough, she signs up a storm!

I had Chloë Sevigny sign my OUT magazine. She was super cool. Cracking jokes and just being a cool person. Then I kicked myself for not bringing my Big Love box set! Grumble.

Carlon Cuse the executive producer of Bates Motel arrives and comes over. He signed one of my posters and was fairly cool.

The next arrival is Michael Eklund. Super cool guy.

He is in the new season of Bates Motel. He took photos, and hung out with everyone. I think he would have stayed to hang out with the fans rather than do press.

Rain, Rain go away. Noooooo it’s starting to rain… Nooooo That just sucks. We all trying to huddle together (there’s only like 13 people here) and try to not let out stuff get ruined. Sigh… Why rain? WHY!

It’s not too bad… Max Thieriot is here and I have to tell you, he’s super nice.

He signs both of my posters for me, he does a bunch of photos. I think he signed forever. Of course, the whole time, I’m hoping that the rain isn’t ruining anything. Ugh…

And then… the rain sort of lets up! YAY!

It’s going to be okay…

Then it starts up again just as Olivia Cooke arrives.

She looked stunning and it’s so odd to hear Emma talk with a British accent!

She comes right to my poster and signs both of my mini posters. She signs for a bunch of people, and was super nice. Of course it started to rain harder as she was signing… Ugh…

We’re only waiting on a couple people now. Nestor Carbonell didn’t sign and headed for the carpet.

And then just as the drops of rain got bigger… Vera Farmiga arrives. It looks like she’s going to head to the carpet and then in the rain, she comes on over. She starts signing in black and I asked her to switch to silver, which she was nice enough to do. She says, “One each guys” and then after a little bit takes off.

I can’t believe that she did it in the rain. That was pretty cool.

And then, I decide I’m going to get some rest and dry off.

I’m pretty happy, the poster looks great, and I can’t wait for season 2!!!!!!
