Journey 2 Movie Premiere! With Josh Hutcherson! Dwayne The Rock Johnson! Kristen Davis! And a Diss From Vanessa Hudgens!

Can I tell you how much I hate LA traffic…? I think it’s just to torment me, and the millions of others that call LA home… Grrrr… I’m trying to get to the Journey 2 premiere and dammit if it’s not crazy… CB is holding me a spot, but… he was supposed to hold me a spot at Underworld Awakening and that didn’t happen… Sigh… I’m just giving CB crap…. I’m actually very thankful he is able to hold me spots. I have a Journey 2 mini poster for him, but I’m not sure if that’s a good or bad thing.

I’m out today, one for Hunger Games and The Kids Are Alright star Josh Hutcherson and Ms. Charlotte York… AKA Kristen Davis from Sex and the City… LOVE HER! Wow, that even looks gay when typed out…

Anyway, my friend Christine from work…Yep, I have a kick ass day job… Christine told me she’s a huge Dwayne Johnson fan. After I stopped laughing, I thought maybe I’ll surprise her and get her a poster signed… So, wish me luck kids….

5:05 p.m. – Seriously, traffic is what Satan uses to torment me. I left at 3:30 and it took me an hour and a half to get from Santa Monica to Hollywood. Shotgun meet head.

5:15 p.m. – After decompressing I finally found Scotty and CB. We have a small spot, but we can make it work. God Bless CB for holding spots.

5:23 p.m. – I just found out that the arrivals are early at 6:00 p.m. That’s awesome!

5:32 p.m. – There are not that many people here, I wasn’t sure if the Hunger Games craze has started yet… It could be like Twilight or not… I just don’t know. I guess we’ll see…

5:41 p.m. – I have a couple Sucker Punch posters for Vanessa Hudgens. I know the movie wasn’t all that, but I liked it… It was different… Even though I still say Vanessa Hudgens can’t act her way out of a paper bag.

5:52 p.m. – CB is giddy for the Rock. He’s the only one in our little group. I think he’s bouncing… He actually wants to get a Tooth Fairy poster signed… Sigh…

5:53 p.m. – I have a couple magazines for Josh Hutcherson, the Hunger Games mini poster and a Kids Are Alright mini poster. For Kristen Davis… I have a bunch of stuff… lol…

6:05 p.m. – The press are in, and some producers are dropping off…

6:16 p.m. – I think Ashley Tisdale is here… It’s so hard to tell when you are not looking for someone specific.

6:18 p.m. – Scotty wants Kristen Davis to sign his poster in a pink paint pen! I love it!

6:20 p.m. – Oh an arrival… It’s Vanessa Hudgens… We are all yelling for her, and… She just waved… Wow… I’m a tad shocked… She went right on the carpet… Man, after seeing Beastly, she needs all the fans she can get!

6:26 p.m. – Still waiting… Oh, another drop… It’s Josh… Everyone screams and screams… and he comes right over to the crosswalk… It’s a crazy state of readiness… Girls are screaming, the dealers have their 8×10’s ready…

6:27 p.m. – Josh comes right over to people and starts to sign away.

Dude, he’s so nice… His security is telling people one each, and that’s pretty much what people are getting.

I need my Hunger Games poster signed in silver so I have to prioritize that… He heads our way, and signs CB’s Kids Are Alright poster then I say, “Josh, would you mind signing the Hunger Games poster in silver?” He says, “Oh sure.” Takes the pen signs the poster in silver, hands me back the pen and then signs my Kids Are Alright mini poster. Sweet.

He heads down the line and continues to sign and sign and sign… He spent quite a while actually…

6:31 p.m. – Now, on the hunt for Kristen Davis! I’m very impressed that Josh took so much time with fans.

6:39 p.m. – A car… It’s Dwayne Johnson… CB squeals like a 1990’s school girl who just saw New Kids on the Block and literally bounces yelling “The Rock, The Rock!” I wish I had video of that… Dwayne is coming right on over…

6:40 p.m. – Dwayne crosses the street and stars signing.

He is really taking his time with people though…

6:42 p.m. – He gets to us, and after CB gets his “The Tooth Fairy” mini poster signed….

Yes, he really got that signed, I know… Why? Why, would anyone over the age of 11 want that…? I’m just… Never mind…

Dwayne Johnson gets to me and I ask him to sign my Journey 2 poster to Christine… He is happy to do it, and I thanked him.

Not exactly my hot celebrity sighting of the year.

6:44 p.m. – Shit! Kristen Davis is pulling up. Scotty is yelling and the Rock is literally signing for him… Sigh… Dammit!

Well… Now we head to Baja Fresh and wait… There’s no one else really, that we care about so we grab some food…

8:02 p.m. – now we are debating where to wait… Scotty and I are hoping that we can grab Kristen Davis as she’s leaving. It’s hard, but we can always try… Sigh…

8:11 p.m. – People seem to be congregating at two areas… Hmmmm….

8:43 p.m. – Well, we go over and pick our area and wait… There are a few dealers there, and we all decide that’s the place to wait… I don’t think we’re going to get anyone major but since Kristen didn’t sign on the way in, this is out best shot…

9:02 p.m. – Some people are trickling out…

9:15 p.m. – The movie is over… Okay…

9:16 p.m. – Vanessa Hudgens is leaving and everyone yells for her but she bee lines to the car…

9:25 p.m. – There’s Josh Hutcherson… He again goes right to the car… This does not look good… Sigh…

9:33 p.m. – Holy crap! There’s Kristen Davis! We all yell and yell, and holy shit, Kristen is coming over,

I think I might have freaked out a tad… Which is nice because I haven’t felt that super rush in a while… Kristen stops and just signs and signs and signs…

My God, she is so sweet! So Sweet!

9:34 p.m. – Scotty and I get Kristen on our side and she signs our posters in Scotty’s pink paint pen.

We both totally fan out on her telling her we came just for her, etc… Scotty and I are both huge Sex and the City fans… Kristen was so sweet.

She continued signing down the line and then we asked for photos. Kristen said, “I have to get my boys right here…” I just about peed my pants… Then Kristen Davis signed and signed for everyone!

So glad we stayed! Such a wonderful night, honestly, you couldn’t ask for much more. If would have been nice if Vanessa Hudgens came over, but whatever… I can get my Sucker Punch poster signed another time… Charlotte York and Peeta! Whoo Hoo!
