For part two of Russell’s Napa Valley report he met a bunch of awesome people! Glee star Dianna Agron was on hand as was Foo Fighters singer Dave Grohl. Jawbreaker star Rose McGowan was also on hand and was great to fans as usual.

So Friday night we ventured down to Napa and decided the best would be to wait at tribute dinner that was starting at 5:30pm and was being held at a winery restaurant. When we arrived already there was the usual 10 that are at every event so we knew we were in right spot.
5:15PM : First up was Dianna Agron and she was as nice as can be and signed multiples for everyone and took pictures (well only 12 of us).
Really happy as she exited somewhere else and heard at the tribute there was a lot of security and no one was able to get to her again. Now I just need Mark Salling and this is done.
5:30pm – A guy that looked like Miles Teller arrived, but no one moved and he just walked by, but one of the dealers said they got him at hotel already. So my son ran after him and he signed our Divergent poster from Comicon.
5:45pm – Dave Grohl showed up as he was a judge for the festival and said to everyone one each and he meant it. My son had no idea who he was as didn’t grow up in Nirvana years.
6:30pm – Rose McGowan was the last to show up and she was also very nice and took pictures, signed whatever people had and said she would sign on way out as well.
The night didn’t end here as we took the hour drive to San Francisco as we could go to the Sir Mix A Lot concert as he was our boy during our college years in Seattle. He was playing at Yoshi’s and put on a great show and with the highlight being all these girls in the audience getting up on stage during his “Baby Got Back” rap.
Anyway, he was really cool after the show and took pictures with people and signed my 2 albums.
A good, but tiring night.
