One of my favorite electronic groups is Underworld. I have enjoyed their music ever since first hearing the single “Born Slippy. NUXX”. As a music fan, I would have thought I would have seen the group multiple times over the years. Sadly, this was not the case. I was able to see the band live for the first time in San Francisco this past April. It was truly a religious experience.
When they made their way through Los Angeles last month, I was not going to miss my opportunity to try and meet them. As luck would have it, I was able to share some time with them. Both Karl Hyde and Rick Smith were both incredibly fan friendly, signed my items, and took a photos with me. It was definitely a magical moment. Thank you, Karl and Rick!
