Wondercon Roundup! Day 2! Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. Signing! Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! Wynonna Earp! Voltron! And More!
I’m still getting over the “con crud” that TTM Troy mentioned in his last TTM Tues, and while I love going to cons, I hate the con aftermath. Blech.
Day two of Wondercon brought a lot of fun. I was able to pull for a couple things in the morning. I was able to get the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. signing as well as the cast of Voltron as well.
Not too bad if I do say so myself.
After that, I headed over to TDW because they had a signing for a new Syfy series called Wynonna Earp. I keep hearing how good this show is and I figured I would check it out.
I ran into my friend Dane who is a big comic book fan, and hung out with those guys for a bit while in line. It was a fun signing with most of the cast there including Melanie Scrofano and Tim Rozon and more.
It was a nice signing and they gave a cool poster out, plus they let you get as many comics as you wanted signed!
Then I ran over to the Voltron signing, it was supposed to have the voice cast and the producers but sadly the voice cast never showed up! WTF!
The poster was cool though.
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles signing was at the same time, so I rushed over there and got in line. It was with the new voice cast as well.
It was a fairly smooth signing, everyone was cool and thankfully the pens all worked this time around!
There were some costumes from Alice Through the Looking Glass on display which were cool. Such work goes into those costumes man…
The Disney Music Emporium booth was really great, with some awesome picture discs and other memorabilia.
Time was ticking out and ticked off right to the time I was supposed to head to the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. signing. Most of the cast was there which was cool. Plus, they signed a limited edition exclusive poster only given out at the con.
It was pretty rad!
Since you can’t take pics inside the private rooms, all I have is a picture of the poster. But the cast was really nice and Ming-Na was especially friendly. It was great to see her smile in person since on the show she scowls a lot!
A lot to do in a short amount of time, that’s for sure!
I also saw a lot of great cosplay and there were a couple people hiding in the bushes as you go down the escalator. Ummm just because you dress like characters from Jurassic Park doesn’t mean you’re in Jurassic Park. Just FYI!
One more day of Wondercon to go!
Until next time kids…
