For those of you who have not seen the panic stricken weather reports, Los Angeles is in the middle of a typhoon! Literally, it’s been pouring rain, and then stopping, and pouring, and stopping. UGh…

So, it’s 9:30 and I get awoken from my slumber by Billy Beer who said that I should head down to the Spirit Awards. I wasn’t planning on going, but now… I’m throwing things into a bag and running out the door. I know I’m going to forget something or not see something, but I’m going to have to just deal. Sigh…

I arrive and literally arrivals started at the same time. Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje is here and Billy using all his infinite spotting expertise started yelling for Chiwetel Ejiofor.

Oh… The Dev Patel incident of 2014! I’m loving every second of this.

Jane Lynch is here and she comes over to sign… Only for Billy. I don’t have anything but Billy had a Glee photo and got a special moment.

June Squibb is here. It doesn’t look like she’s going to come over but then she does! I have my Nebraska hat with me and June was so cute!

Elisabeth Röhm is here and comes right on over, she’s so freaking nice!

Li Gong is here and Scotty lost it. She is very nice and signs a lot.

Kristen Ritter and Zoe Kravitz arrive. I have my X-Men First Class poster that Zoe is super nice and signs. I wish I knew that Kristen would be here I would have my Veronica Mars stuff with me but alas that didn’t happen.

Diego Luna is here and is super cool as usual.

Brie Larson has arrived and I forgot my United States of Tara poster. Doh!

Cate Blanchett is here and she comes over! Signs quite a few, but I just can’t get her to sign my poster.. She just missed our spot. Dammit. Sigh…

Oh, it’s Reese Witherspoon! She looks amazing! And comes right on over. I have my Just Like Heaven UK Quad mini poster for her. She is super sweet and signs pretty much one each down the line. Amazing…. She signs a LOT!

Sally Hawkins is here. She is very nice and comes over.

Matthew McConaughey arrives and is hyper nice. He literally starts at one end of the line and goes all the way down. I have my Dallas Buyers Club poster for him that Jared Leto already signed. He was very nice and made sure to try and get everyone.

Jared Leto went in and barely waved.

Will Forte is here and comes right on over. He signed my Nebraska hat as well.

Bruce Dern arrived and went on in.

Dammit! Keanu Reeves is here and I didn’t bring anything! He’s always so cool and once again, he comes on over and all my stuff is at home… Grumble!

He’s so nice. Man oh man… I have a Bill and Ted’s cereal box sitting at home, I have a Bill and Ted’s Bogus Journey mini poster… at home…. It’s killing me.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie arrived in the side away from everyone. Sadness…

I had to put money in the meter and of course I missed Michael Fassbender. Ugh… Kills me. But I didn’t want an 80 dollar ticket. Sigh…

Then, the skies opened and rain poured down in sheets. It looked like Gozer the Gozerian is going to burst out of the sky. So, we decide to leave because of the rain and the weather.

Sadly, we missed Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie leave and come over for everyone. Ugh… I’m not going to dwell and get upset. I wasn’t planning on even coming and was lucky enough to get Reese and Matthew so I’m going to look on the bright side!
