The Walking Dead Season 4 Premiere! Norman Reedus! Andrew Lincoln! Danai Gurira! Lauren Cohan! Emily Kinney! Steven Yeun! Autographs! Heat! Madness! And More!

I’m tired!

I’ve been looking forward to this day for a long time. Every year I look forward to the new season of The Walking Dead! Now entering it’s fourth season the Walking Dead is quite simply one of, if not the best show on the air. It’s honestly, amazing television.

Today is the day of the premiere, and I headed over. I heard that you couldn’t line up until later on in the day, however when I arrived around 2ish… It was pretty full. So, I tried to figure out what to do. I spotted OTG John and talked to him for a sec. I decided to second row it, and soon I was joined by DVD Dave.

It was hot, damn hot… I thought my ears were going to burn off hot. Ace kept testing me panic because he couldn’t get here until later. I think he mistakenly thought that Dick Van Patten and Louis Gossett Jr. were here. That, or he had 37 8×12 photos for Greg Nicotero.

DVD Dave and I headed over and got some food. We surveyed the scene and tried to tick off the hours. The funny thing is, we have a lot of hours to tick off. This is why I like having a spot on the barricade, that and I hate… HATE trying to go over people and screw them over. honestly, I’m tall so if I wanted to I probably could get more stuff signed if I wanted, but I’d rather have a good time.

I’m getting on my soapbox. Anyway, the carpet is getting more together and it’s looking like a premiere.

I just ran into the awesome Lindsay from I Am Not A Stalker! We chatted for a hot sec and her and Ms. Pinky found a spot on the barricade on the other side.

The heat is getting to me, but thankfully the food is making me feel better. The carpet is almost in full swing and the press are in their pens.

It’s almost showtime.

Thankfully, the sun has gone down and it’s starting to get a little exciting. The right before a premiere starts is the best! So much possibility! I’m really hoping that this is going to be a fun time!

Oh…. Oh… It’s the first arrival! Sonequa Martin-Green is coming!

She looks amazing! Damn! I really liked Sasha last season so I’m looking forward to seeing where season 4 is going to take her!

I got her to sign my season 4 poster!

There’s a few people we can see coming up. Oh crap, it’s Andrew Lincoln.

He’s always so nice! I have so much crap for him. He comes right to the carpet and right to us to sign. I have a bunch of individual mini posters for everyone in the cast, but for some reason, I don’t have my Andrew Lincoln one… Frakk!

Anyway, Andrew Lincoln is super nice, he signs an Entertainment Weekly for me and then my mini poster as well. Then he signed my Funko Pop figure and before he left our section he signed my second Entertainment Weekly magazine.

I’m so stoked because my friend really wanted one and I got one for her! 🙂

Greg Nicotero is here now and runs on over. He signs super fast and is trying to get to everyone.

Right after Greg Nicotero, Gale Anne Hurd just got here. She is so sweet. I love her.

She started thanking us for being fans and said that the Walking Dead has the best fans in the world.

She also talked about Aliens for a hot second and said that she thinks Aliens holds up pretty well. Ummm yeah! It’s a classic!

The man, the myth, the legend, Norman Reedus is here now! I love the bowtie!

Norman is by far one of the coolest people out there. He just loves the fans! I wish his signature was a little better… Ahem… But who doesn’t love Daryl Dixon! Come on now!

Norman Reedus comes on over and signs up a storm he signs my individual mini poster and then my cast poster.

I also got him on my Pop figure and then I got him on my entertainment Weekly magazine as well.

It’s a little crazy having the two main stars of the show arrive first but I like it since they have so much time to sign!

Emily Kinney is here and is adorable.

I have an individual poster for her and she signs that first and then my cast poster as well. She is so sweet.

Next Scott Wilson is in the distance. He makes his way to the carpet and finally starts to sign.

Ah! it’s Michonne in the flesh! Danai Gurira is here and she’s signing away.

I love Michonne, she’s a badass in the show and I can’t wait to see what happens to her next season. she is super nice but sadly not paying much attention to where she’s signing. That happens.

She signs my individual mini poster and also my cast poster as well. She’s signing up a storm and I wish I had more stuff for her!!

Steven Yeun is here and he’s just flying down the line to the carpet. I barely get my individual mini poster signed and I think he only did it because it was just him.

We’re only waiting on Chandler Riggs, David Morrissey, Melissa McBride and Lauren Cohan now.

And speaking of Lauren Cohan, there she is!

Lauren flies down the line but comes right over to my individual mini poster and then my cast poster as well.

She flies down the line. I think her and Steven Yuen and got a “arrive and sign fast down the line” memo.

Still she was very cordial.

Okay… We’re waiting on a few more people…. come on kids…

Melissa Ponzio is here. She is one of the survivors from last season. She is super nice and signs and signs and signs… God love her!

And now we’re still waiting… Chad Coleman is here and signed like seven and runs off… I missed him dammit! oh well…

I’m really hoping that Melissa Mcbride shows up, Carol is one of my favorites…

Alas, I don’t think it’s meant to be… The press is packing up. So, I think that’s about it.

I’m bushed and want to sleep for like a week. LOL… It was a fun fun day, exhausting but fun. Thanks again to Chris, Ace, DVD Dave, The Other Mike, OTG John and everyone for making it fun. It’s so much more fun when you get to hang with cool people.

And Billy Beer… We missed you! Enjoy the vacation!
