Gone… Gone… Hmmm I don’t even remember Gone… When was it GONE in theatres… Sorry bad joke… It’s a Saturday and I’ve fiended on Diet Coke all day… It’s like crack I’m telling you. Actually I do remember this thriller starring the wonderful Ms. Amanda Seyfried. I do love me some Amanda Seyfried, and I remember not being able to go to this for some reason… Hmmm…
Anyway, CB headed out to the Gone premiere for some fun and frolic… Mainly for Jennifer Carpenter I would assume, but of course for some of the supporting players in the film as well.
Check out his recap after the jump… BEFORE IT’S GONE!!!
Wow, look at all the bad jokes I’m telling today…
Deh-shay, bah-sah-rah, Deh-shay bah-sah-rah ! Awhile ago, I was able to attend the premiere of Amanda Seyfried’s new thriller, Gone. I love me my Amanda Seyfried, but the movie also had Jennifer Carpenter from Dexter, Wes Bentley from Ghost Rider (first one) and Daniel Sunjata from Rescue Me. I loved Rescue Me and I was quite saddened that it recently went of the air, but Willem Dafoe will be back (Dennis Leary joke) ! Daniel I’ve never seen so he was a big one for me to get. Armed with my mini poster and oodles of stuff, I’m off!
I arrive and find a spot on the barricade. It’s quite a small barricade and I guess they expected a small turnout. We wait patiently until the arrivals begin.
We have to be very loud to call the celebs over after they finish their interviews. Richard Grieco is here ! The heavy hitters, but I must admit, this guy is super cool about signing and photos. One of the first arrivals from the movie we spot is Katherine Moenning! Why, because she didn’t drop she actually walked through the theatre.
She comes over and signs and takes photos with whoever asks. First person from the carpet to come over was Jennifer Carpenter.
She is very nice and takes photos and signs.
Wes Bentley follows quickly and comes over and signs as much as he can before he has to leave.
We spot Amanda doing her last interviews, and we call for her and she comes over.
Its madness I say, MADNESS! She starts on the other side, but someone hands her a dead blue sharpie. Oh well, you get what you can.
I get her on my mini poster and photo and she whizzes by. The last person was Franco himself, and we call for him and he comes over.
He says he has to go in and rushes everything. He signs a few autographs and takes a few photos, but I do get his autograph and photo with! That’s the end of the premiere.
Everyone I wanted came over and I got a photo with them as well, except for Amanda because it was chaotic. I eventually got her after the movie. I left the premiere quite pleased as the turn out was very small. When Mike The Fanboy is ashes, you have my permission to die. Until next time, same CB hour, same CB channel same CB website! KAAAAPPPPPOOOOWWW!
